Caleb Jacobs
Music and Dance Teacher

Caleb with Briana Michels
at a recent Ballroom Dance Competition
Caleb graduated from Lighthouse Christian Academy at age 15. He began taking music lessons at age 8. A natural musician, he has expanded his repertoire of instruments which now include guitar, banjo, bass guitar, violin, viola, saxophone, clarinet, flute, drums and trumpet. With his own teachers' encouragement, he started teaching at age 16. He is also a trained piano tuner. He love all genres of music but his favorites are Christian music and '50's music.
Caleb performs locally with a band called 'The Grand Duo'. In 2009, Caleb won the People's Choice and Judges' Choice at the Kanabec County Fair and then went on to perform at the Minnesota State Fair.
About music, he says, "I love the way it can challenge a person to reach higher and higher and improve." He know music can be a peaceful past-time in a stressful world and can help children excel in school. Recent cuts in school budgets makes the lessons he offers vitally important for the kids in our communities.
Private music lessons are a fun and affirming experience for kids and adults alike.
To schedule a private lesson in banjo, guitar, bass guitar, flute, viola, violin, saxophone, drums, clarinet or trumpet, please call Caleb at 320-290-1764.
Caleb is also available for private lessons in Ballroom, Latin and Swing. You can catch him at our group classes as well. He has been dancing for over 10 years in Ballet, Tap and Jazz. He teaches a Jazz Dance class specifically designed for boys. As with his music, he loves to perform and compete but also just simply loves the joy of dancing.
